About us!!!Letter to the youth Click to download (Acrobat .pdf format) or (MSWord .doc format) Dear Fellow Parishioners, Our Parish (Saint Panteleimon) is endeavouring to provide for and accommodate not only for our older generation but also for our younger generation. As a result we have formed a Fellowship (Youth Group) that meets every week. As an Orthodox Christian Fellowship our purpose is to gather together and meet with other people to learn more about our Faith and socialise. We are writing to invite you to attend our Fellowship meetings. Our Parish Fellowship meets every Thursday evening at 7:30pm. It is a good opportunity to meet people and discuss matters, which are of interest to you. We meet and listen to a talk, which is given by Fr. Anthony Krinas and also by Dennis Krinas (Theologian). The talk is in English and is about our Orthodox Faith. We discuss the weekly Gospel readings, the lives of Saints, old and current Orthodox issues and various other topics. After the talk we usually relax and socialise for a while, listening to music and enjoying some refreshments/snacks. We have recently purchased some new equipment to allow for some fun. We have a Billiard table, Ping-Pong table and also Soccer table (Foosball). Our numbers have been growing steadily and we hope to organise some more social events/functions for us to be involved in. Our ages vary and we have people who are teenagers, people who are in their twenties and also people in their thirties attending. Furthermore, our Parish has incorporated some more English into our Liturgy on Sundays (compared to previous years when we had no English), which includes an English sermon at the end of the service. If you cannot make it to the Thursday evenings then hopefully we’ll see you at Church on a Sunday in the near future. We look forward to seeing you there. God Bless. Regards Fr.
